Our theme for our Mini Sermon is "TERROR and VIOLENCE" and we Begin with our foundation Scripture found in Genesis 6:1111 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. (KJV)
The question in the minds of many today is why are we, here in America, having so much violence and terror?? As we have read in our foundation Scripture violence has been around as long as
the earth and those who are involved with violence are not involved with God.. Let me repeat that, "those who are involved with violence are not involved with God.." In Proverbs 10:12 we read; 11
The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. (KJV)
A righteous man or child
(child
of accountability, between 7 & 8 years old) is one who has
accepted Jesus Christ as Lord
and Savior of their life. A wicked man or child is one who has not
accepted
Jesus Christ as personal Savior and is in the control of Satan and His
army of Demons....In 1 Peter 5:8
we read; 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because
your adversary the devil, as
a roaring lion, walketh about,
seeking whom he may devour: (KJV) Many
parents
today forbid their children to believe in God, go to church, or pray.
Some
parents do not want prayer in school. Jesus Said in
Luke 18: 16-17 and Mark
10: 15; 16
But
Jesus called them unto
him, and said, Suffer (allow)
little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is
the
kingdom of God. (KJV) Mark
10:15 15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever
shall not receive the
kingdom of God as a little
child,
he shall not enter therein. (KJV)
I believe that much of the
terror
and violence in our society today is caused by parents who do not
correct
their children in the principles of God as we read in Proverbs
13:24 24 He
(parent)
that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth
him betimes (speedily) (KJV) Are you
sparing
the rod for the fear of being reported to H.R.S. or do you have some
other
reason not to obey the teaching of God our creator??? Look at Proverbs
19:18 18 Chasten thy son
while there is hope, (while
he is young) and let not thy soul spare (give-in) for his crying. (KJV)
Proverbs 10:1 1 The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son (daughter) maketh a
glad father: but a
foolish son (daughter) is the
heaviness (heartache) of his mother. (KJV)
Parental correction should begin when the child is an infant and
continue
until he or she is an adult!!! Proverbs
22:6
6 Train up a child in the way he should
go:
and when he is old, he will not depart
from it. (KJV)
Now look at Proverbs
22:15 15 Foolishness is bound in the
heart
of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him. (KJV)
Remember Satan wants all humans to be disobedient,
beginning with children.....
in Ephesians 2:2
we read 2 Wherein in time past ye walked
according
to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of
the
air, (Satan) the (evil)
spirit that now worketh in the
children of disobedience: (KJV)
If you are a parent who is concerned about the terror and violence in America today and do not know the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior hard times are ahead for you. God foretold that a son would turn against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and daughter in law against her mother-in-law; Matthew 10:34-36 34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. (KJV)
This is because of abnormal and satanic oppression to the Gospel!!! Look at Luke 12:53 53 The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. (KJV) and in Micah 7:6 6 For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house. (KJV)
You can help control the
terror
and violence in America if you will only turn to God and His Son Jesus
Christ for guidance...Accept Jesus Christ right now and ask Him to make
the changes that are necessary in your life and then in the life's of
your
children. Let this prayer come from your heart, "Lord Jesus I am a
sinner,
I ask forgiveness for my sins and ask you to be Lord of my life
and the Lord of my children.
I believe you are the Son of God and I accept you as my Savior. Teach
me
to follow your teaching as I begin to read the bible and help me find a
church that will help me grow and raise my children in the ways of the
Lord God Jehovah Amen" If you
